EDHEC Shines in Latest Rankings

Published on December 18, 2006

After coming 7th in the Financial Times European rankings for its Master in Management programme, EDHEC comes 5th in the 2006 Rankings of all French Business Schools, according to the French newspapers L'etudiant and l'Express, securing its position once again in the Top 5.

On an international scale, EDHEC has significantly improved its status. By climbing an impressive 14 places since 2005, EDHEC is now among the top 25 business schools in Europe (Financial Times European Business Schools Rankings, December 2006).  This is an accurate reflection of the quality of courses on offer and proves its academic excellence in 8 international programmes.

The Top French Business Schools are in a class apart and are steadily gaining ground on a European scale, becoming more and more recognisable throughout Europe, an added bonus for EDHEC who already has a reputation for its international orientation. EDHEC certainly shines in the international context, carrying the flame in several categories linked to this theme.

EDHEC - The International Choice

The school's international network of 91 partner institutions of which 52 have the Equis or AACSB accreditations,  is the highest of all the Equis or AACSB accredited schools (23 on average for the other French institutions.)

The recruitment of students abroad is a major factor for French business Schools, in particular for EDHEC where over a quarter of all students are international and where 75 nationalities are represented on campus.

With 149 double degrees, EDHEC ranks in 2nd position in this category, well ahead of the other 34 schools represented and one which should continue to grow through the development of the Intercontinental Track where students are taught on three different continents.

EDHEC also shines through its international recognition for its contributions to research, in particular, its research into Finance and is perceived by the UK as one of the best in this field.

Finally, EDHEC's 17 000 members of the global EDHEC Alumni Network is strengthened every year with 29% of new graduates finding their first job abroad.

"EDHEC has long been tuned to an international context and it is with this orientation that we have developed courses to allow students to discover different cultures and management techniques" says Olivier Oger, Dean of EDHEC Business School. "Our mission is to train managers able to perform in multicultural environment."
